Notice to all Health Care Facilities in Nagaland
NPCB/NGT-O.A.No.710/2017/1778 Dated Dimapur, the 24th April, 2019
This is to inform Health Care Facilities (HCFs) in Nagaland that as per the Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016, all Health Care Facilities are required to submit an annual report in Form-IV under Rule 13, on or before the 30th June of every year. As per the Hon’ble National Green Tribunal (NGT), Principal Bench, New Delhi, order; implementation/ compliance of Bio-medical Waste Management Rules, 2016, the annual reports are to be made available online on the website of occupiers.
Therefore, all the Health Care Facilities (HCFs) in Nagaland, irrespective of the number of beds or non-bedded clinics/hospitals are to comply with Hon’ble National Green Tribunal (NGT) order and made reports available online on the website of occupiers.
All the Health Care Facilities (HCFs) in Nagaland, are also directed to set up Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) in the hospital premises for treating the waste water generated from the Hospitals/ Nursing Homes etc.
