World Wildlife Day – 3 March 2023 – Poster
The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on December 20 2013, during its 68th session, decided to declare March 3, the day of adoption of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna (CITES), as World Wildlife Day.
World Wildlife Day 2023 acknowledges the significant contribution CITES has made to sustainability, wildlife and biodiversity conservation. This day has now become the most important global annual event dedicated to wildlife.
